The Art of Cool Project The Art of Cool Project (AOCP) is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving, presenting, and promoting jazz in Raleigh-Durham. The AOCP presents a monthly concert series every third Friday at Durham's Labour Love Gallery featuring a variety of musicians ranging across idioms - from acoustic to electric, bebop to hip hop. The AOCP comes to Raleigh at Flanders Gallery the first Friday of March to kick off its Raleigh concert series. The AOCP produces a Weekly Jazz Guide and keeps a comprehensive jazz calendar.

Chatham County JAM A year-round after-school program that introduces children (from 3rd to 8th grade) to the music of their heritage through small group instruction in instruments common to the Appalachian and Piedmont regions of North Carolina. Chatham County JAM strives to make the program accessible to all students by providing free or low cost instrument loans and free or highly subsidized tuition. Field trips, visiting artists and an introduction to the rich history of music unique to local communities help complete our program offerings.

Hearling Loss Association of America (HLAA), Wake County Chapter Hearing Loss Association of America is the nation’s largest organization for people with hearing loss. In 2017, the Wake County chapter helped PineCone test a portable assistive listening system for our outdoor concerts, AND donated two hearing loops for use with the system PineCone will now have available at all future PineCone outdoor concerts.
