Donate to PineCone
Donations from individuals provide a significant portion of PineCone’s financial support. With more than 900 members and donors, PineCone is able to develop quality programs and assist other local arts groups to bring traditional performers to the area. Your tax-deductible contributions help PineCone continue to preserve, present, and promote all forms of traditional music, dance, and other folk performing arts for the people of North Carolina. PineCone is a privately funded nonprofit institution. We rely on the generosity of our friends and supporters to meet operating costs and other expenses. There are many ways for individuals, foundations, and corporations to give their support.
Please note: Current PineCone members who choose to donate above and beyond their current membership can receive additional membership benefits in accordance with PineCone's membership levels. You can choose to donate to PineCone without becoming a member; if you are interested in becoming a PineCone member in order to make your donation today, you can use the Join or Renew button above, or you can join by phone or by mail. If you have any questions, please call us at 919-664-8333 or e-mail your membership questions to us.
PineCone also enjoys growing in-kind support from businesses and individuals that find they can more readily offer materials and services. The donation of equipment, materials and services to PineCone helps offset our expenditures for such items and allows us to invest in program expansion and improvement. Please contact our office by phone (919-664-8333) or e-mail to discuss what you would like to offer.
