PineCone in Wake Forest

PineCone and Wake Forest have a strong, longstanding partnership that brings roots music to the Wake Forest community, first in Holding Park and now in E Carroll Joyner Park.

A PineCone concert was part of the dedication of E Carroll Joyner Park in 2009, and PineCone has been presenting summer and fall concerts there ever since. Every year, PineCone and the Town of Wake Forest Parks & Recreation Department work together to present free concerts in Wake Forest's beautiful E Carroll Joyner Park (pictured; credit: Brainard Photo). The park includes a 1000 lawn-seat amphitheatre, a performance area, the Walker garden, restored farm buildings and pecan grove, restrooms, pond, and approximately three miles of walking trails. Approximately half of the 117-acre park, located at 701 Harris Road, is open meadows.
